DH&G specializes in the acquisition, renovation and construction of affordable family and
senior housing communities. We have been acquiring, developing, constructing and
managing affordable communities since 1992. Our Principals, Adam Diskin and Russell
Hirsch have been key players in the development, syndication and construction of over
10,000 residential units with a development cost in excess of $200 million.  Our market
focus encompasses Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Hawaii.  We have
offices in Seattle, Santa Barbara and Honolulu.

What makes us different is our understanding of and experience in leveraging local, state
and federal financing programs.  Project financings have utilized tax-exempt bonds,
low-income tax credits, historic rehabilitation credits, CDBG and HOME funds, private
grants and HUD loan programs.  Institutional investors in our projects have been
secured in partnership with leading syndicators such as Paramount Financial Group,
Alliant Capital, Related Capital, MMA Financial and The Richman Group.  We have
worked closely with community lenders at GMAC Capital, US Bank, Banner Bank, Frontier
Bank and Washington Mutual Bank.

In partnership with city officials and local community service agencies, our investments
significantly improve the quality of life for residents and their neighborhoods.
Our recent developments include the following:

  •  Woodland Greens Apartments, a 240-unit family
    community that underwent a substantial ($4.5 million)
    renovation and rehabilitation. Prior to rehabilitation and
    management, this one community was utilizing 46% of the
    city’s police resources. Woodland Greens is now a safe
    family community utilizing only .8% of the city’s police
    resources.

  •  Cedar Landing Apartment Homes, a newly constructed
    131-unit family community which has the most extensive
    and luxurious physical amenities in Marysville, Washington,
    yet is affordable to all residents of the area.

  •  Park Hill Apartment Homes, a 104-unit family community in
    King County, Washington, was renovated to expand the
    amenities available to tenants including playgrounds and a
    computer lab within a landscaped gated community.
